Privacy Policy

Mustard Seed Press is a discipleship ministry. This policy covers this website, mustardseed.press. It also explains, in summary, what our Sacred Well app does with a Google account, and links to that app's own policy.
We do not sell anything about you. There is no advertising here, and no tracking for advertising.
What this site collects
If you join the newsletter. Your email address, and a note of which page you signed up from. Nothing else.
If you request free sample chapters. Your name, your email address, which book you asked for, and whether you ticked the box asking for occasional updates. We record that tick so we can show you asked, rather than merely say so.
If you write to us. Whatever you choose to send to hello@mustardseed.press. That is ordinary email and it sits in our mailbox.
There are no accounts on this website. You cannot sign in here, and we set no advertising cookies.
Who else processes it
Supabase — the database where the above is stored. The project is owned by Mustard Seed Press, not a reseller.
Lovable — serves this website.
Kit — our mailing list. If you asked for updates, your email address is added there. Kit sends the confirmation email and any newsletters, and handles unsubscribes.
Resend — sends the transactional email: your sample chapters, and our confirmations.
Amazon and Barnes & Noble — our books are sold there, not here. Following one of our links takes you to their site under their own privacy policies, and we do not receive your order details.
Signing in with Google
The Sacred Well is our family discipleship app, at sacredwell.mustardseed.press. It is free, it is separate from this website, and it is published by Mustard Seed Press — which is the name you will see on the Google consent screen.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, your email address, and basic profile information such as your display name. That is all we ask for. We use it to create and identify your account, and nothing else. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, calendar, or files. We do not use Google account data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone.
You can revoke that access at any time from your Google account's security settings.
The app stores considerably more than this website does — household members, notes, prayers, study progress — and it has its own policy covering all of it, including exactly what its AI features send and what they never send. Children
Our books are written for children. This website is written for the parents who buy them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child here, and there is nothing on this site for a child to sign up to. If you believe your child has given us their email address, write to us and we will remove it.
Your choices
Every newsletter we send carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. If you would rather we deleted everything, write to hello@mustardseed.press and we will remove your email address and any sample request attached to it.
Retention
We keep a newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe. We keep sample requests so we can see which books families are asking for. Either can be deleted on request.
Security
Connections to this site are encrypted, and the database is encrypted at rest. Supabase, where the data lives, is SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certified. Our API keys stay on the server and are never sent to your browser. This website holds no passwords at all, because it has no accounts.
Changes
We will update this page when the site changes, and the effective date above will change with it.
